Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani marks the return of Karan Johar after 5 years without directing films. However, it also marks the return of another Bollywood legend to the screen: Dharmendra. He gave outstanding performances as Krodhi, Chupke Chupke and Sholay, among others, during the 1980s and 1990s era. Now 85 years old, he has always been considered, in his six-decade career, one of the most beautiful actors in Bollywood. In other words: the favorite guy for both action and romantic roles.

Speaking to the Times of India, Dharmendra revealed that it will be the first time he will work with Karan and that filming begins in August. Until then, he continues resting on the farm where he lives, on the outskirts of Mumbai. “I am really happy. You see, I love the camera and the camera loves me. We continue to admire each other from a distance and ended up embracing every chance we have”, he said. Reports suggest that Dharmendra will partner Jaya Bachchan in the film, but will also be seen dating Shabana Azmi.
