Ranveer Singh released the official trailer for film 83. Since then, everyone talks about how Ranveer and Deepika Padukone are perfect as Kapil Dev and Romi Bhatia. In the movie Ranveer plays the former cricketer, who lead the Indian cricket team during the world cup in 1983. The plot is about how a team that no one believed in went from being the underdogs to champions at the cricket tournament. Deepika Padukone has a small cameo and is essaying the role of Kapil Dev’s wife, Romi Dev. She is the backbone of the former cricketer’s life.
The trailer begins with the Indian team faltering on the field again and again with their own people having no hopes from them. Ranveer as Kapil declares at the press conference that they are ‘here to win’. Then, receives negative feedback and sly smirks from the international press. In the second half of the trailer, you can see the Indian team making a stunning comeback.
